Hello and welcome to the 1st article… Let’s explore the beauty and complexity of Spanish guitar, business, and life together.
It’s my believe that when creating value for others, it's also important to prioritize your own experience and well-being. As a musician, business owner, and normal person living in this crazy world, I believe that it's possible to create value for others without sacrificing your own needs and desires. Not an easy task, but totally achievable.
Let’s break it down:
As a musician, I understand that creating music that resonates with my audience is important, but I also prioritize my own creative expression and enjoyment. I strive to find a balance between creating music that meets the needs and desires of my audience, while also staying true to my own artistic vision and personal style. It took some time for me to understand that pleasing others when it comes to art, only leads to poor performance and while you may attract some people… you will not touch their hearts and eventually they’ll move on to the next cool thing.
As a business owner, I know that providing value to my clients is essential, but I also prioritize my own values and mission. I strive to offer products and services that meet the needs and desires of my clients, while also staying true to my own beliefs and principles. By doing so, I can create a business that is both successful and fulfilling for me. People expect to receive a service when they choose to do business with you, but with today’s level of competition, and access to so many options… I believe that the decision ultimately is made by a hunch that you are the right person for the job, and that you can provide and experience that no one else can. (Very important to live up to that, because you get only ONE chance to make that impact.)
In my personal life, I understand the importance of creating memorable experiences for the people I care about, but I also prioritize my own well-being and happiness. I strive to find activities and experiences that not only bring joy to those around me, but also to myself. By doing so, I can create stronger and more meaningful connections with my loved ones, while also taking care of myself and my own journey. People don’t like to be around a person that can only see the negative side of the world. And I believe a good friend won’t only invite me to party at his big house, or share a vacation… A good friend, partner in life, family member, loved one, will teach you how to accomplish the same level of prosperity. We strive to improve our quality life, but it will mean nothing if the rest of the people around you is not moving up as well. Don’t get me wrong, I want to be successful in life, but I also want my loved ones to share the same level of knowledge and prosperity I can achieve. In other words… I want to provide my family with enough value and wealth to achieve wonders, but not enough wealth that they won’t have to work hard for their own future to be a success. In simple words… PROOF OF WORK… I’ll tell you more about this last one in future articles.
By finding a balance between meeting the needs and desires of those around you, while also prioritizing your own values and well-being, you can create a fulfilling and meaningful life for yourself and those who choose to be around you.
Ultimately, generating value for my audience, clients and when interacting with other people, is not about sacrificing your values, but rather finding ways to enhance them and connect on a deeper level. By doing so, you can increase your impact, and achieve long-term success.
See you next week!
