Hello and welcome!
Are you ready for this week’s letter? Grab your coffee or drink and let’s dive in.
As I mentioned last week, I want to go a little deeper into my story and how I landed in this "happy place" where I am right now.
How many times has someone approached you and asked, "Why are you so happy? Don’t you have issues or problems?" Well, I'm assuming you do, like the rest of us, but the difference is how we decide to approach the situation. Some people choose to perceive life as a constant conflict zone, full of problems and situations that don’t allow them to succeed, while others choose to see it as a constant learning path. When you have a great day, it's a perfect opportunity to learn how to enjoy yourself and allow yourself to smile and have a good time, but the real challenge comes when you are having a terrible day. Do you allow yourself to use that day as a learning experience and an opportunity to improve? If you do, you are one of those people who smiles every day. How dare you?
We tend to quit our job, move to another place, change our careers, or simply start taking care of our health when we reach a point of stress or sadness. It is very difficult to make these changes when the comfort zone is at its best. Back in Argentina, I grew up in an environment where money was never a problem, and luxury was an everyday thing. I was able to discover my passion for music and play soccer and drums every day because there was nothing else to worry about. And here we go. Money doesn’t buy happiness, but financial independence gives you free time, and free time allows humans to become exponentially productive. The comfort zone was at its best, but like every Argentinean, I was about to embark on a great journey.
Money went away overnight. When was this? Yesterday? Go ahead and laugh or cry. If you read today’s news, you will think I'm talking about yesterday, but as I always say: "You leave Argentina for 6 months and come back to a completely different country, but you leave it for 10 years and everything is exactly the same... even your politicians."
During that search, I discovered a different way to express myself playing the guitar. Eventually, I understood that as long as I was in my comfort zone, nothing was going to change.
Arriving in the USA was like a cold shower...everything is about money, success, networking, the goals, and you either hang out with the cool people or you are never going to make it. Well, if you have been here since 2008 and you are still here today, the cool people tend to stop being cool when you remove the credit card from their wallets.
Moving ahead, in 2022 for obvious reasons, financial freedom, time, and being able to generate wealth by playing the guitar full time, became an obsession. During that search, I found what I believe to be a must in everyone’s library: "Think And Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, "Lessons Of History" by Will Durant, "Rich Dad / Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki, and "The Bitcoin Standard" by Saifedean Ammous. (No worries if you don't like, understand, or believe in Bitcoin yet… this book doesn’t mention it until the end. Spoiler: It talks about "The Trojan Horse" I spoke about in my past articles.)
Once you embark on the journey of understanding the creation of real value through proof of work, your comfort zone becomes a constant learning zone. This path leads to becoming a more productive, wealthier, healthier, and happier person every day. When someone asks me why I am so happy, I respond by explaining that I now understand that every goal is achievable, and every interaction with the world presents an opportunity to move closer to what we call happiness. It's essential to make every interaction count and ensure that you don't waste any opportunity you have to help others, learn something new, and have a great day.
The most amazing people don't need to advertise it, nor do they need shiny objects to enjoy life and wealth. As the number one rule in the movie "Fight Club" states: You do not talk about Fight Club! but you will smile when you realize there are other members around you. And, as rule number eight goes: "If this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight." You cannot be an observer in the game of life, but you get to choose how to participate in it. Make it count.
I hope these concepts help you approach life from a different perspective and achieve your goals. See you next week!

¡Hola y bienvenidos!
¿No tienes problemas o dificultades?"
